flash website

this was the final background that i used.

this was my original idea. i redid it and incorporated a metal texture for my background. the texture that i used was nice because it dictated my navigation too. the metal texture had an area up at the top that my buttons could go. and there was a stage for the content to go on, too.

these are the robots that i exhibited in my website.

i LOVED this assignment and was excited that we got to choose our own audio clip. this made learning flash so much easier.

html site

my experience with html code was so difficult at first. i felt like i was really behind and was just plain too lazy to catch myself back up. but after our demos in class and after asking around for help, i got the hang of it and started to like it. learning html is like learning a new language. i am pleased with how my website turned out i want to go back and change a few things and make it more easily navigatable.

these are the first steps i took. i created the outlines and added textures to the shapes of the buttons in photoshop.

next i opened up dreamweaver, defined my site to my jump drive, saved it as index.html, created divs and css pages, placed my photoshop documents as png images, loaded them to the appropriate divs, and got to work.

these are codes that i used for my css pages. it was my navigation.
